Fennel was taking a stroll through the forest practicing his magic along a cobblestone path.  Utilizing enhanced hearing was an incredibly interesting ability and it added a whole new layer to the world he knew.  As he concentrated, a faint beating turned his attention; it was different from the shuffling of brush or buzzing of lumibugs.  To his surprise, opening his eyes revealed a large brown egg similar to the ones back at the Nook.  Closer inspection revealed that the beating he heard was the drumming of a newly formed heart and it seemed to of been abandoned.  Cutting his practice short, Fennel gathered the egg and started towards the Nook keen on getting the egg to safety.

I tried to do a little lineless on the characters as inspired by ToonieCheckers art.. ^-^"  I need to try it again when I'm not feeling so rushed, haha.

Also, I'm sure some of you are wondering why the heart is upside down.  Well, that's just how the wyngling inside is developing.  You can read more about Wyngro eggs and designs in the link below!
