I caved so hard when I saw this little adopt. I was hesitant at first (Talias had only been recently designed a few days ago) but I had a plan for a wyngling and he just seemed to fit. I'm pretty happy with my purchase.

Personality:
  Daedalus is an incredibly creative Wyngling who has a special knack for crafting and art. He's a killer sculptor with just about any medium he touches and his technological crafts are top notch... for a wyngling. It's certain that this little guy follows the innovative path and has plenty of potential to push the boundaries of the low-tech Wynsiph as he grows-- he's quite the intuitive thinker! Though proud of his work, he can't help but be anxious when others come to inspect his creations; he holds a heavy fear of their criticism and judgemental views. The whole idea of it fuels a myriad of different emotions that he, frankly, just isn't mature enough to handle just yet. As such, little Daedalus will often try to find a quiet place where he can be alone to work on his creations. The temporary detachment is important for his focus and and helps to keep the anxious emotions at bay.

Along with his anxiousness and creative prowess, he is also incredibly secretive. Daedalus has a habit to keep his plans hidden from the rest and will sneak about with the consistent paranoia of being followed (You'll never get my plans from meeee!). There is plenty this little wyngling will not tell you, which may incite a bit of shifted concern from the opposing party. Just what does a little wygling like him have to hide? I'm glad you asked! Out of his classified information this is one tidbit I can share with you: Daedalus was once forced into a flowery, girly dress against his will and liked it. Now the wyngling explicitly puts himself within grabbing distance of anyone needing a model for their clothes, but he can't help but worry about what the others would think if they knew he liked to play dress up. Though it can be considered embarrassing, this little event sparked a new sense of wonder and excitement. Now he is willing to try anything and experiment with anything... at least once.


History:
  Interestingly enough, Daedalus' egg was found during an archeological dig (or the Wyngro equivalent).

  When digging about a group of archeologist uncovered some ancient imperial ruins. They discovered many bones and artifacts including a fossilized egg that shone as crimson stone. Ecstatic with their findings, the team rejoiced and retired to their camp for a celebration laden with sap. Unbeknownst to the group, a thief was about whom took interest in the ancient egg. Items as such would fetch a high price on the black market and even to big city museums and collectors. Into the night the thief stalked through the camp until they found the location of their valuable prey. They swapped out the ancient egg with a likened duplicate and took off into the night with none the wiser.

When the team revealed their findings to the museum, they were taken without incident. The duplicate was placed behind glass along with many of the other relics and artifacts. All seemed to be well until a few days later; some patrons reported to the authorities that there was a wyngling in the exhibit. It turned out that the dud was actually a genuine Wyngro egg, though many believed it to be a walking fossil of when the Imperials flourished. A following was sparked through this event causing the little wyngling's life to fall in danger. From one hand to the next, little Daedalus was given his name and transferred to the sleepy little town of Wynsiph. Here he would be able to remain hidden away in safety of the Nook and live out a [hopefully] normal life.

View On Relationships ~~and Breeding~~: He's a little Wyngling so the perspective of a relationship isn't high on his agenda. Currently he's more focused in his physical crafts than the chemical romantic but that doesn't mean he won't develop crushes ;D

I just realized, while coming back to peak at Daedalus again, that I completely messed up gender wise while writing my comments earlier in March. ;-; I feel so bad so I just had to come back and apologize. And to say that baby Daedalus is so amazing.
